National Volunteer
National UNV volunteers (NUNV) are composed of two categories: NUNV Specialist and NUNV Field Worker. They work in their own country and often serve in 'mixed teams' with international UNV volunteers. They are most often recruited to work on community-based development projects with participatory approaches.

NUNV Specialist
NUNV Specialists should meet all of the following criteria:
1.Academic credentials (Bachelor's or higher degree from accredited university)
2.Several years of relevant professional experience following higher education, preferably 5 or more
3.Minimum 25 years old
4.Excellent communication skills in English

NUNV Field Worker
NUNV Field Workers should meet all of the following criteria:
Settling-in Grant calculated on the duration of assignment to be paid at the beginning of the assignment;
1.High school diploma or higer
2.A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
3.Minimum 21 years old
4.Skills and experience in community development
5.Excellent communication skills in English
